110th Lunchtime Pipe Organ Concert

About this event

Started in April 2010 to commemorate the registration of the pipe organ at Habikino City Life, Culture and Information Center (LIC Habikino) in the "Osaka Museum," this is a lunchtime concert that anyone can casually enjoy. For this 110th concert, Mitsuko Masaoka will deliver a volunteer performance. The program is scheduled to include J.S. Bach's "Toccata" from "Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565," Hiroshi Miyagawa's "The White Comet," and Joe Hisaishi's "A Town with an Ocean View" (from the film "Kiki's Delivery Service"). In a short span of 20 minutes, visitors can enjoy the rich resonance of the pipe organ with familiar masterpieces and classical gems. Admission is free. The concert starts at 12:10 and ends at 12:30. Doors open at 11:50. The venue is Samtech Hall M on the 1st floor of LIC Habikino.
