About this event
As part of the free concert series held by Kadoma Citizens' Cultural Hall Lumiere Hall every fourth Sunday from 15:00, 'Lobby Concert: Kansai Lever Harp Ensemble' will take place. This concert aims to provide citizens with an easy opportunity to enjoy high-quality music, create performance opportunities for young artists, and turn Kadoma City into a town filled with music. The Kansai Lever Harp Ensemble is an ensemble unit that plays lever harps (also known as Irish harps or Celtic harps) with lever hooks, mainly featuring 26 to 34 strings. Formed in April 2024, they share the joy of the harp with many people mainly in Osaka, Kobe, and neighboring areas using harps of various makers, ranging from small lap-sized harps to medium-sized ones. They are actively performing, including appearances at the 1st through 3rd Kansai Harp Festivals. On the day, a wide repertoire ranging from familiar songs to moving classics is scheduled, such as 'Amazing Grace,' 'A Whole New World,' 'Baby, God Bless You,' 'La Novia,' 'Flowers Will Bloom' (Hana wa Saku), 'Princess Mononoke,' 'Grandfather's Clock,' and 'You Raise Me Up.' While scheduled performance pieces may be subject to change, a rich variety of songs played with the beautiful tones of the harp is anticipated. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a special moment enveloped in the elegant and soothing sounds of the harp.
