Held at Mt. Kongo Chihaya Park in Chihayaakasaka Village, Osaka Prefecture, the "Mt. Kongo Autumn Festival" is an event where visitors can fully enjoy autumn nature and culture at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Attractions include the "Mt. Kongo Akasaka Ancient Trail Hike" exploring the history of Chihayaakasaka Village, as well as an open-air concert at 1,000 meters elevation by musicians connected to the local area. Additionally, a specialty market will sell local produce and specialties from Chihayaakasaka Village, including summit-exclusive goods. At the "Mountain Consultation Room," veteran hikers will answer questions and give advice regarding mountaineering. The event also features an astrophotography exhibition of submissions from amateur astronomers, alongside introductory exhibits for the Diamond Trail and the National Convention for the Development of an Abundantly Productive Sea. The venue is Mt. Kongo Chihaya Park, accessible on foot from the Fushimi Pass Trailhead. This event is a great opportunity to savor the deep autumn charm of Mt. Kongo.
