4th Around Awaji Island Ultra Walking 2026

A 110 km ultra walking event will be held on Awaji Island, a popular destination drawing great attention in the Kansai region. Easily accessible from the Keihanshin metropolitan area, Awaji Island is an exciting destination packed with modern sightseeing attractions, where the historical "Kuniumi" myth coexists with modern character-themed shops. The 110 km course, where participants can take in the scenic views of the Seto Inland Sea while passing notable spots such as the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, is known as "Awaichi" and is coveted by cyclists and walkers. Take this opportunity to challenge yourself to walk around the fascinating Awaji Island. The event will take place from November 28 (Sat) to 29 (Sun), 2026, starting and finishing at Sumoto Civic Square. Aid stations or checkpoints offering water, light snacks, and restrooms are set approximately every 10 km to 20 km. The entry fee for the 110 km course is 14,000 yen (including participation gift and accident insurance). The time limit is 28 hours for the approximately 110 km, with a cutoff at the 4th aid station at 3:30 on November 29. The participant capacity is 300 people.
