Smile-Yam Sumireya, a renowned Japanese confectionery shop in Konoike, Itami City, will open a special stall at the Former Ishibashi Residence, a traditional merchant townhouse built in the late Edo period. They will sell seasonal Japanese sweets made with homemade bean paste, as well as Western-style and traditional treats such as warabi mochi, dorayaki, and castella cake. Purchased confections can be enjoyed at the counter or along the engawa veranda of the Former Ishibashi Residence. This event also collaborates with the 'Itami Halloween Park & Tour' held in the city center, serving as one of the tour spots that children visit. As items will end once sold out, arriving early is recommended.
