About this event
"Takasago Manto Festival 2026" is a two-day event in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, where the townscape is enveloped in light. Centered on the Historic Landscape Formation Area of Takasago-cho, which is also recognized as a Japan Heritage site, alley candles and other lights illuminate the entire town. Light-ups at concentrated lighting venues and a jazz gallery are held, transforming the entire town into an event venue. Local gourmet food and various exhibitions also appear, allowing visitors to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere wrapped in light and music. It is the perfect event for taking a stroll through the town of lights while feeling the sea breeze on a long autumn evening.
