📅 Sun, Oct 25, 2026
About this event
The 2026 Kakogawa City Fireworks Festival will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026. This year, fireworks will be launched simultaneously from six locations across the city (Shikata-cho Hara, Kakogawa Riverbed, Yahata-cho Nakanosaijo, Kanno-cho Nishinoyama, Kakogawa River Mouth, and Befu-cho Minatomachi). Approximately 600 fireworks at each location will light up the night sky over a 15-minute period. No viewing seats, food stalls, or parking areas will be provided, and viewing from near one's home is recommended. In addition, live broadcasts are scheduled on BAN-BAN TV Channel 12 and live streaming on YouTube's 'Ouchi de Kakogawa-shi Hanabi Taikai Channel', allowing people to enjoy the event without visiting the venues. People are urged to refrain from gathering near the launch sites and parking on streets. If organizers determine that ensuring safety is difficult due to crowding or other factors, the event may be canceled.
