About this event
Kawanishi Otoakari 2026 is an outdoor community-crafted event of sound, light, and food held in Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture. Aimed at revitalizing the city center, it is planned and operated primarily by local citizens. Making use of public spaces, the event aims to build connections between people and between people and the city. Organizers, supporters, performers, vendors, and visitors unite to create the event together, cultivating mutual trust, respect, understanding, and cooperation, while fostering civic pride and attachment to the community. At the event, visitors can enjoy music stages by locally raised artists and food booths featuring famous local eateries. In addition, candles illuminated with children's artwork decorate the venue, creating an appealing setting for families to spend a relaxing time. Celebrating its 16th year, the event is characterized by a warm atmosphere built by the entire community.
