PAC Season Opening Festival in Yabu City

The "Season Opening Festival," marking the start of the new season for the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra (PAC), the resident orchestra of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center, will be held in Yabu City. Under the direction of Artistic Director Yutaka Sado, PAC welcomes new members selected through auditions from Japan and abroad, staying in Yabu City together with world-class musicians to perform various musical activities. A wide variety of programs are scheduled for the concert, ranging from small ensembles by the strings, woodwinds, and percussion sections to a grand orchestra performing Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10. The highlight is the chamber music presented by PAC members, featuring percussion ensemble, brass ensemble, woodwind ensemble, and string orchestra. Furthermore, on the day before the concert, free mini-concerts with open admission will also be held at 2 locations in the city, providing an easy opportunity to enjoy music.
