The Awaji Island Uzushio Cruise special voyage "Sunset Cruise" will operate exclusively for two days on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026. On this special cruise, during this season of beautiful sunsets, you can simultaneously enjoy both the whirlpools and the setting sun at the Naruto Strait. You can fully appreciate the whirlpools bathed in the evening glow alongside the stunning gradation of the sky and horizon changing over time. Onboard, a concert by professional musicians will be held, allowing you to spend a luxurious time listening to pleasant live performances. Operating with a capacity of 100 passengers, the ship will not be crowded, allowing you to enjoy your time at a relaxed pace. Highlights include the powerfully impressive whirlpools reaching their prime viewing season in autumn and the beautiful sunset sinking into the Seto Inland Sea, selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Sunsets." "Special VIP Seats" utilizing the VIP room are also available, limited to 14 guests, where you can enjoy special cuisine, alcohol, and drinks. Boarding fees for non-reserved general seating are 7,000 yen for junior high school students and above, 3,000 yen for elementary school students, and free for toddlers/infants. VIP seats are 25,000 yen, featuring Awaji beef steak, dishes made with local ingredients, Awaji Island-produced wine, and more.
