Rishiri Island Around-the-Island Fureai Cycling

About this event

This event allows participants to enjoy cycling at their own pace while feeling the sea breeze and grand nature of Rishiri Island. The course of about 60 km, combining a cycling path (25 km) and general prefectural roads (35 km) called "Rishiri Saikuru Road", goes around Rishiri Island. Participants can choose between Rishirifuji Town venue or Rishiri Town venue as their starting point; starting from the Rishirifuji Town venue is convenient for participants from outside the island. Every year, many participants gather from inside and outside the island aiming for the goal. Event participants receive the benefit of free one-way ferry bicycle shipping fees. A social gathering is also held during the approximately 60 km cycling along bicycle paths and prefectural roads.
