The "Pedal and Fall in Love TAKA Ride 2026", held in Taka Town, Hyogo Prefecture, is a cycling event where participants do not compete for rank or time, but instead ride while enjoying Taka Town's rich nature, beautiful rural scenery, satoyama landscapes, local gourmet cuisine, and traditional culture. Along the approximately 68 km course, aid stations filled with the charms of Taka Town are prepared, where riders can enjoy making chopsticks from Sugihara paper, Yamada Nishiki sake manju buns, cookies from VERO cafe, a papermaking experience, Amanofune rolled sushi, Fukushin egg cake, soy sauce mochi, a hearty lunch box, Yamada Nishiki amazake, mini cakes, and more. The charm of the event lies in spending the entire day not just riding, but thoroughly savoring Taka Town's food, culture, and specialty products. At the start and finish venue, chattana no mori, live events and a market are planned, along with a special project where participants can create their own custom label for "100% Yamada Nishiki Junmai Sake" as a commemorative gift to take home unique memories of Taka Town. As riders cycle together with experienced guide riders, even beginners can participate with peace of mind.
