About this event
The Autumn Festival of Kuniyasu Tenman Shrine is held under the duty and care of Kochiku Village. The 2026 event dates are scheduled for the Yoimiya festival on Saturday, October 10, and the Hirumiya festival on Sunday, October 11. Last year's autumn festival was grandly conducted under the duty of Nakaisshiki, and footage of the 16-person squad lifting the portable shrine (mikoshi) high overhead has been published on YouTube. In addition, coverage of the autumn festival appeared in the Kobe Shimbun newspaper and was broadcast on Banban TV under the title "Higashiharima Autumn Festival 2025." By having local residents carry the mikoshi and perform traditional rituals, this festival serves as an important opportunity to create community vibrancy and pass down cultural heritage.
