Nara Mt. Wakakusa Twilight & Nightscape Sightseeing Bus [Summer]

Special buses will operate to the summit of Mt. Wakakusa during the transition from sunset to nightfall, allowing passengers to enjoy the night view from Mt. Wakakusa (one of Japan's New Top Three Night Views). Because these are local route buses, boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation required. A tour guide rides along on the bus, making the journey inside enjoyable as well. There are also great photo opportunities for sunsets and deer. The bus departs from JR Nara Station (East Exit Bus Stop No. 4) and Kintetsu Nara Station (Nara Kotsu Bus Stop No. 20), staying at the summit of Mt. Wakakusa for 1 hour. The service operates even in rainy weather, though sunset views may not be visible. In the event of severe weather, service may be suspended. The time window to view the sunset and nightscape varies depending on the sunset time.
