Kasugano Music Festival, a citizen-participatory outdoor music festival that colors autumn in Nara, will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Set across the city center and the Nara Park area centering on the grounds of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, this is a musical event created together with local community members. Visitors can enjoy a special time that can only be experienced by being present at this time and place. Celebrating its 11th edition as a music festival where diverse musical dedicatory performances take place, performances will be held at venues such as Kurumayadori on the grounds of Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Park Ukigumo Enchi. A packed program is planned, including public open-call stages for citizens and dedicatory performances by famous artists. As parking for event visitors is not provided, using public transportation is recommended. Event details are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.
