Held on a long autumn night in Yamazoe Village, Nara Prefecture—an area known as a "village of starry skies"—the "Yamazoe Fudoin Moon Viewing Gathering" is an event where visitors can enjoy unique local experiences while admiring the beautiful moon. Participants can try their hand at making Tsukimi dango (moon-viewing dumplings) and listen to temple staff share stories about the history of Fudoin and the moon. Welcoming families, friends, and visitors from both inside and outside the village, the event aims to provide a warm and peaceful time for everyone together. As an option, lamb rice burgers will also be served. The event will be held rain or shine, so you can enjoy it without worrying about the weather.
