Iwade Marugoto Festa: 20th Municipal Anniversary Celebration

Iwade Marugoto Festa will be held to let visitors fully experience the charms of Iwade City. On the day, local mascot characters from Iwade City and across the prefecture will gather to liven up the venue. The stage events will offer full-day entertainment, including a comedy show by the brother comedy duo Sumitani, a 20th anniversary quiz tournament, a bingo game with prizes such as rice and gift certificates, rock-paper-scissors tournaments, and rice cake tossing (omochimaki). In addition, "Ennichi DX!!", featuring free fair games such as ring toss, shooting gallery, and bouncy ball scooping, will also be held. Many attractions are prepared for both children and adults, including food and merchandise booths, tourism promotion booths, hands-on corners, and sales of limited-edition sweets commemorating the 20th anniversary of municipal status. A stamp rally across different areas within the venue will also be conducted, and those who complete the requirements will receive a 20th anniversary commemorative original sticker. With the theme of "Eat, Play, and Enjoy!", this is an event to experience the full charms of Iwade City and the region.
