Cosmos at Washigamine Cosmos Park

Spreading across the summit of 586-meter-high Mount Washigamine, the cosmos field offers a breathtaking view resembling a heavenly flower garden. On clear days, a vast panoramic view unfolds, looking out as far as Awaji Island and Shikoku. In autumn, cosmos flowers bloom across the entire landscape, allowing visitors to enjoy cosmos, sunsets, and night views simultaneously in the pleasant breeze. A German-made windmill standing approximately 36.6 meters high is also installed in the park, and night views of Wakayama City can be admired from the observation area. The path from the parking lot to the observation area is barrier-free, allowing anyone to visit with peace of mind. In addition to cosmos, azaleas in spring and hydrangeas during the rainy season can also be enjoyed.
