The 8th Navi-Tosho Yokocho Hitobako Used Book Market

Organized by Mihama Town Library, the '8th Navitosho Yokocho One-Box Used Book Market' is a flea market-style event for selling secondhand books. What kind of books are lined up depends on the stall owner, allowing visitors to enjoy encounters between books and people. Individuals or groups selling books, magazines, comics, etc. can set up a stall, provided they can tend the stall at the venue on the day. The sale of harmful publications is prohibited, and high school students or younger must be accompanied by a guardian. As a stall rule, the amount brought per stall is set to the size of one long desk (about 3 mandarin orange boxes). Stall holders are free to set prices for books, manage sales, and create displays and POP signs on their own responsibility. Luggage must be brought in on the day, and stall holders are responsible for pricing and handling checkouts. Recruitment is for 4 stalls, and the application deadline is Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Fill out the necessary information on the application form and submit it by mail, FAX, or at the library counter. Participation is free.
