Tottori 320,000 Koku Castle Festival

About this event

This is a traditional historical festival held in downtown Tottori City. In the eve festival, a light show with 500 drones (planned) will illuminate the night sky based on the themes of Tottori's nature, legends, and the history of Tottori Castle. A stage talk by actor Donpei is also scheduled. In addition, at the food stall village featuring local ingredients and brand products, visitors can savor the tastes of Tottori. In the main festival, a historical procession dressed as feudal lords, princesses, samurai, and others will parade through the city, and a matchlock gun demonstration by the Bishu Okayama Castle Gun Corps will be performed. Armor try-on experiences (for a fee) are also available, allowing visitors to feel like Sengoku warlords. Taking place around Hisamatsu Park and the Tottori Castle Ruins, it is an event where visitors can experience history and culture.
