Set in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture, 'Shin Granfondo Kurayoshi 2026' will be held to savor the region's charm through cycling. Celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2026, Granfondo Kurayoshi has been reborn with new content. Starting from the North Exit of Kurayoshi Station and spanning approximately 88 km with an elevation gain of about 1,369 m across central Tottori Prefecture to the northern Okayama / Hiruzen area, the course features easy-to-ride roads with few traffic lights, the refreshing sensation of riding through mountains, and varied ups and downs that inspire a sense of challenge. This cycling event is not a race competing for time or rankings, but an opportunity to ride at your own pace while enjoying the regional scenery, fresh air, and warm hospitality encountered along the way. Aid stations along the course provide refreshments and hospitality showcasing local food and regional charm unique to central Tottori and northern Okayama, allowing participants to enjoy local gourmet and cultural interaction in addition to cycling. A market (marche) will be held concurrently on the day, aiming for a lively day in Kurayoshi where riders, supporters, and hosts gather together.
