About this event
Held in Yurihama Town, Tottori Prefecture, the "Nature Observation Walk with Biological Society Members in Hawai" is an observation event exploring the rich nature from the Uno Coast to Mount Umanoyama in Yurihama Town alongside members of the Tottori Biological Society. Society members who are specialists in various fields such as plants, insects, and wild birds will serve as instructors, allowing participants to learn deeply about the region's diverse organisms and natural environment while listening to expert explanations. The meeting place is Uno Park in Togo Lake Hawai Seaside Park, and the observation course is planned for the Uno Coast to Mount Umanoyama area. Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation is free of charge, but participants must bring their own lunch, drinks, rain gear, observation equipment, and other necessities. Wearing comfortable clothes that are easy to walk in and can get dirty is recommended. Co-hosted by Tottori Prefectural Museum, Kurayoshi Museum, and the Tottori Biological Society, this walk provides a valuable opportunity to rediscover the value of local nature.
