The "Manyo no Sato Hitomaro Festa 2026," held in Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, is an event where you can fully enjoy an autumn day. Food stalls and food trucks will line the venue, and visitors can enjoy diverse stage performances such as Iwami Kagura, live music, and movie screenings. Furthermore, hands-on activities are plentiful—including canoeing, water gun games, grass sliding, and shichirin charcoal grill gatherings—offering entertainment for families and friends throughout the day. Stage events will feature musical performances by Shizuka Sudo & Hiroki Tochibatake and the Gotcha Band, Iwami Kagura performances by Iwami Kagura Sabumi Shachu and Takatsu Kagura Shachu, a mascot gathering, the Mizubering toast event, and a screening of the film "Takatsugawa." Food and drink stalls, food trucks, and games such as ring toss will also be available, while the survival game (water guns) can be enjoyed as an individual competition. The canoeing experience is free to join, and guests can enjoy outdoor dining by the riverbed during the shichirin gathering.
