Shishi District Joint Sports Festival (Shishi Elementary School Closing Memorial Event)

Commemorating the closing of Shishi Elementary School, which will end its 153-year history next March, the Shishi District Joint Sports Festival, which has continued for over 20 years, marks its final year. Special programs have been prepared for this commemorative festival, where residents and graduates of the Shishi district will gather together for a grand celebration. To bring things to a glorious conclusion, all participants will make the festival exciting together. Advance entries are also being accepted for the "All-Generations Serious Relay" via phone or internet. The entry deadline is Friday, September 4. On the day, it will take place from 8:30 AM until around noon at Shishi Mountain Village Ground. In case of rain, it will be held at Shishi Training Center. In case of inclement weather, a decision will be made at 7:00 AM and announced via voice broadcast. For indoor staging, please bring indoor athletic shoes. Since parking space around the venue is limited, carpooling is recommended. Satsuki Kaikan parking lot is also available.
