Nakamura Industrial and Cultural Festival: Shirashima Festival

Held in Okinoshima Town, Shimane Prefecture, the Nakamura Industrial and Cultural Festival Shirashima Festival is an event that deepens cultural and industrial exchanges at Okinoshima Monozukuri School. On the day, artwork exhibition corners in each classroom open at 10:00 AM, allowing visitors to experience local talent and creativity. In addition, food stall sales corners will be set up in the gymnasium from 10:30 AM, offering local flavors and specialty products. Furthermore, an entertainment corner will be held on the gymnasium stage from 11:00 AM, featuring a diverse lineup of performances. The event runs until 2:00 PM, and the festival grounds in front of Monozukuri School as well as the parking lot next to Nakamura Beach are available for use. This festival has become an autumn tradition in the Nakamura district of Okinoshima Town where local residents and visitors can come together and enjoy.
