The 'Okayama Korakuen Chrysanthemum Exhibition', cherished as an autumn tradition at Okayama Korakuen, will be held. Approximately 300 pots of colorful chrysanthemum works, carefully cultivated by chrysanthemum enthusiasts across the prefecture, will gorgeously decorate Korakuen. The large chrysanthemum division features various displays such as flowerbeds, pot sets, Fukusuke, and Daruma styles, while the small chrysanthemum division offers displays of flowerbeds and cascade-trained (kengai) works. The beauty of the chrysanthemums, combining the passion and skill of the exhibitors, is breathtaking. The venue includes locations that harmonize with scenic beauty, such as near Korakuen's main gate, the front garden of Kakumeikan, and the archery range. The 'Okayama Chrysanthemum Exhibition' is also held during the same period at a special venue in the adjacent Okayama Castle / Ujo Park, allowing visitors to enjoy both. The peak season for chrysanthemums is said to be around early November, making it the recommended time to visit for peak beauty. This exhibition is an excellent opportunity to experience Japan's traditional chrysanthemum culture and attracts many visitors as an autumn tradition coloring Okayama.
