Sightseeing Train 'Ametsuchi' Displayed on Turntable!

The sightseeing train 'Ametsuchi' will run on the Imbi Line for two days on October 3 and 4, 2026. In this special service titled 'Ametsuchi - Autumn Imbi Line', it will operate between Tottori Station and Tsuyama Station, allowing passengers to enjoy the beautiful scenery and local charms along the railway line. After arriving at Tsuyama Station, it is scheduled to be placed on the turntable inside the Tsuyama Railroad Educational Museum grounds (the turntable will not rotate). This is a rare opportunity to see 'Ametsuchi', which usually operates mainly in the San'in region, run on the Imbi Line. At Tsuyama Station, visitors can also witness it lined up on the same platform alongside the sightseeing train 'SAKUbi SAKUra' running during the same period, making it an unmissable event for railway enthusiasts. Onboard, a guided tour will introduce railway heritage sites along the Imbi Line, allowing passengers to appreciate not only the train journey but also the local region itself. All passengers will also receive a commemorative boarding certificate. Event details may be subject to change or cancellation depending on the weather.
