Held annually on the first Sunday of October as the largest marathon in Okoppe Town, the '39th Okoppe Milk Village Marathon' is an event where approximately 500 runners, from children to seniors, participate and enjoy running at their own pace while looking out over dairy farms. Three course lengths are available: 3 kilometers, 5 kilometers, and 10 kilometers, allowing participants of a wide range of age groups and fitness levels to enjoy. The unique event name is also part of its appeal, offering an opportunity to enjoy running under a refreshing autumn sky while experiencing Hokkaido's grand nature.
