Walking with a Local Guide: Total "Tradition" Experience Tour of Shiraishi Island (Half Day)

As the 3rd installment of the Kasaoka Islands Full Experience Tour, a history, culture, and walking tour exploring Shiraishi Island will be held. Guided by a local guide who knows Shiraishi Island thoroughly, participants will enjoy a traditional weaving experience and a stroll through Kairyu-ji Temple, which is associated with Kobo Daishi. At the island cafe "Kua" along the way, enjoy a relaxing cafe break with a sweets set made from Shiraishi Island mulberries. To conclude the tour, watch the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage "Shiraishi Dance" on the beach at dusk, with the option to join in and dance together for those interested. It is a premium half-day tour for adults offering a comfortable island time wrapped in the sound of waves and dusk on the sandy beach. Participants will walk about 3.5 km along an undulating course including mountain paths, so please bring comfortable clothing, well-broken-in shoes, and drinks for hydration.
