About this event
Held at the Ibara Civic Hall, the "Ibara City Moon Viewing Gathering" allows you to fully enjoy the beautiful autumn moon shining in the night sky while taking in shakuhachi and koto performances along with tea ceremonies. Shakuhachi music will be performed by the Ibara Chikuyukai, and koto music will be presented by Genka no Kai, Yu no Kai, and the Cultural Association Koto Music Class. The Ueda Soko-ryu Ibara branch will oversee the tea ceremony, and the Urasenke Ibara branch will manage the tea seating, with tea ceremony tickets available for 700 yen per cup. Admission is free. Please enjoy an atmospheric moon viewing while listening to the melodies of sankyoku music and savoring tea.
