As part of the 'Sunflower Field in the Sky 2026 Special Project' held in Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, a lecture titled 'The Way of Life of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura, and What We Can Learn from Afghanistan' will take place. Set in northern Okayama's largest sunflower field spreading across a plateau at an altitude of 350 meters, this special program provides an opportunity to reflect on nature, food, people, and hope for the future. Through Dr. Tetsu Nakamura's practical work in irrigating barren lands and the theme 'To eat is to live,' the event delves deeply into the preciousness of life and sustainable society. While enjoying the scenic sunflower fields, participants can share and contemplate the meaning of living in harmony with nature and what kind of planet they wish to leave for future generations.
