Costume & Cosplay Onomichi Festa 2026 is an event timed with the autumn tourist season to promote the history, art, and culture of Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture nationwide. By participating in costumes such as characters from anime, manga, and games, or figures from movies and history, it aims to attract visitors to Hiroshima and revitalize tourism. The event features a performance contest, runway contest, market, DJ time, karaoke contest, and more. A costume & cosplay parade will also take place, parading from in front of Onomichi Station to Minna no Hiroba Hatchi. The venues are the Shimanami Koryukan and Onomichi Station-mae Higashigosho Green Space. Changing rooms are provided, allowing attendees to enjoy the event in costume. Various goods will be sold at the market, while DJ sets and the karaoke contest enliven the venue. In the performance contest, passionate performances will unfold across separate costume and cosplay divisions. Through the event, both participants and spectators can fully appreciate the charm of Onomichi.
