Town Tour BINGO Game "Meguringo MEGURI-BINGO"

About this event

Planned and operated by students of the Commerce Research Club at Onomichi Commercial High School, this is a town exploration BINGO game set in downtown Onomichi. Participants use a bingo card received at the Onomichi Station Tourist Information Center and a digital map of Onomichi (web-based) to visit famous confectionery shops and tourist attractions. By completing specific actions such as purchasing items at participating stores or taking photos at sightseeing spots, a stamp is stamped on the digital map, allowing participants to open squares on their bingo cards. Depending on the number of bingos completed, original merchandise prizes are awarded, such as a participation prize (soft-serve ice cream discount coupon), a single-line bingo prize (sticker), and a complete 9-square completion prize (button badge). By visiting shops featured in "Onomichi Hyakkaten" selected from the unique perspective of local high school students and sightseeing spots such as the Fumiko Hayashi Statue, this event allows visitors to experience the charm of Onomichi more deeply, enjoyably, and affordably. The event takes place even in the rain and can be joined multiple times as long as you have a smartphone (separate participation fee applies).
