The 21st Onomichi Light Festival

This festival fantastically illuminates temples, shrines, approach paths, and plazas throughout Onomichi City with the light of paper lanterns (bonbori) filled with the wishes of local residents and tourists. During the lighting hours, musical performances and various events are also held, allowing visitors to enjoy the night of Onomichi illuminated by candlelight. This festival offers a heartwarming experience created by the harmony of Onomichi's beautiful night scenery and warm lights.
