"Famtime 2026," a parent-child event held in Akitakata City, is a popular event where local children and families raising children can enjoy interacting with nature and people. This year's theme is "Sky." Using the former Gono Elementary School as the venue, many exciting hands-on programs will be held. In Farm Akitakata's popular program "Digging up Vegetables from the Soil!", participants can enjoy learning about agriculture and food while actually digging up vegetables hidden in the soil. In addition, the "Try Operating a Brush Cutter with Radio Control Experience!" will take place. At the venue, plenty of programs enjoyable for both children and adults are available, including a paper airplane competition, riddle-solving events, art experiences, and live stage performances. Furthermore, food and drink stalls, handmade goods, and workshops are scheduled to open in large numbers. It is an event where you can relax with your family under the blue sky surrounded by plenty of nature, and participation with friends, couples, or solo is also welcome.
