13th Art de Omotenashi: I Found a Little Autumn!

The annual "Art de Omotenashi" event is being held once again at Yamaguchi City Saikotei. Marking its 13th edition under the theme "I Found a Little Autumn!", numerous charming and lovely artworks that evoke the arrival of autumn will be exhibited and sold. During the exhibition period, visitors can experience a wide variety of art genres, including glass accessories, cloisonne enamel jewelry, wool and knit crafts, pottery, and miniature houses. In addition, workshops are scheduled to take place. In the "Put it in a Mini Frame! Paint a Forest Fairy Landscape!" workshop by Iida Glass Studio, anyone who can draw can participate to create their own unique landscape painting. Furthermore, in the "Wool Felt Fox Mascot" workshop by Tabi-suru Yomo | Guo Chuanhao, participants aged 10 and older can try their hand at making an adorable fox mascot. Please note that some workshops require advance registration. In the grand 100-tatami hall, a matcha experience is also available where you can savor green tea you whip yourself. It is a wonderful event to fully enjoy an artistic autumn inside an atmospheric historic former ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant).
