The 31st Aijo Hofu Flea Market

About this event

Held in the central downtown area of Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, this is one of the largest flea markets in western Japan, organized as part of the 'Aijo Hofu Movement' aimed at regional revitalization and community development. Marking its 31st edition, this event brings together participating companies of the Aijo Hofu Movement, local merchants, government bodies, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to foster the local economy and community excitement. In addition to the standard flea market area by general exhibitors, the venue will feature a corporate area with goods and food/drink sales by businesses, and an administration/organization area with food/drink sales and hands-on activity booths by related groups. Furthermore, performer showcases will take place in the stage area, and kid-focused events such as a children's flea market will be held in the kids' area. The Rulsus Area, set at Rulsus Hofu, will also host stalls primarily from tenant businesses. Applications are also open for flea market vendors selling unneeded items such as daily goods and clothing, children's flea market booths providing kids with opportunities for work experience and money education, and stage performers looking to showcase their daily practice.
