1st Pickleball Akiyoshidai CUP

About this event

Held in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the "1st Pickleball Akiyoshidai CUP" is a tournament featuring heated pickleball matches. On Saturday, October 31, Open Doubles (any gender combination) will be held, with handicaps provided for female pairs. Matches will be split into three categories: Karst (Advanced), Uvala (Intermediate), and Doline (Beginner/Novice), with entry limits of 8 pairs, 12 pairs, and 12 pairs, respectively. On Sunday, November 1, Mixed Doubles will take place under the same categories and capacity limits. The participation fee is 4,500 yen per person (9,000 yen per pair). Pairs placing up to 3rd in each category will receive prizes, including Kajioka Beef, Mine City's prized Kuroge Wagyu beef. As a participation gift, each player in a pair will receive a tournament towel and a 1,000-yen shopping voucher usable at the market. The tournament will be held at the gymnasium of Akiyoshidai Kazoku Ryokomura, and minors may participate if accompanied by a guardian. Registration is completed by the representative only, with an application deadline of Saturday, October 17, 2026.
