[Advance Registration Required] Embroidery Workshop: "Make a Knapsack with Embroidered Ainu Patterns"

About this event

This is an embroidery workshop to create an original knapsack using Ainu pattern techniques. First, baseline stitches are sewn with basting thread, and tape-shaped fabric is sewn on based on those reference lines. Afterwards, patterns are sketched onto the fabric, followed by embroidery. Although the program is designed to complete the work over 2 days, single-day participation is also possible. However, for single-day participants, since it is difficult to finish within the event time, completing the work at home will be required. Why not experience the beautiful craftsmanship of Ainu patterns and create your very own knapsack? This workshop offers a valuable opportunity to connect with Ainu culture.
