Forest Creation on Saturday, August 22

About this event

An August "Forest Creation" event will be held in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture. On the day of the event, forest clearing work, primarily underbrush weeding, will be carried out on the mountain behind Ooguri Shrine. Gathering time is 8:30 AM in front of the main hall of Ooguri Shrine. The work is morning only, conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants must bring their own tools such as brush cutters (metal blades only; no nylon cords allowed), billhooks/machetes, hand saws, or chainsaws. Do not forget towels and a change of clothes. Lunch will be provided at the Kaizen Center. Those wishing to participate must contact Mr. Nicolai (mobile: 090-9555-7423) by two days prior on Thursday, August 20. Contact via SMS or Messenger is also accepted. In addition, from the afternoon of the same day, an Africa/Kenya lecture and a mini trumpet concert will be held at Ouchi Clinic.
