Kitajima Kuru Marche Disaster Prevention Fair 2026

Held at Tokushima Toyopet Kitajima Store, the "Kitajima Kuru Marche Disaster Prevention Fair 2026" is a hands-on event where visitors can learn about disaster preparedness in a fun way. At a special booth planned and operated by students from the Department of Business and Information Science at Shikoku University, guests can enjoy a "Food Disaster Preparedness Experience" making original soup using Umaibo snacks, as well as a "Disaster Preparedness Goods Making Experience" crafting helmets and slippers from newspapers. Furthermore, a simulated disaster experience utilizing VR is provided, making it easy to learn about disaster preparedness. All of these experiences are free of charge. In addition, many popular food trucks from within the prefecture will be present, offering a diverse array of gourmet foods ranging from meal dishes to sweets. The Tokushima Toyopet booth will feature a racing game using power-supplying vehicles and an exhibition of camper vans and classic cars, packed with content for adults and children alike. This event is held on the same day as the Tokushima Disaster Prevention Festa organized by the Tokushima Prefectural Disaster Prevention Center.
