"Kamiita Disaster Prevention Festa 2026" will be held in Kamiita Town. Under the theme "Look, Touch, and Learn with Fun!!", this hands-on event aims to enhance disaster preparedness awareness among town residents. Visitors can experience various disaster prevention activities such as AED training, earthquake simulation, ropework practice, rainfall simulation, and fire extinguisher practice. There will also be displays of fire and police vehicles as well as panel exhibitions. During the event, emergency curry cooking and soup-kitchen training is scheduled, providing an opportunity to learn about disaster food supplies. Through this festival, the whole family can reaffirm their disaster preparedness. The event will proceed in light rain, but may be cancelled in severe weather.
