About this event
Held in Manno Town, Kagawa Prefecture, 'Manno Rogaining 2026' is an event where participants can learn navigation—the foundation of outdoor sports—while having fun. It features a 3-hour class easy for beginners to join and a 6-hour class satisfying for experienced participants. Joining as an individual or in teams is possible, and adventure racer Makoto Kawaguchi serves as the course director. It provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the rich nature of Manno Town while getting accustomed to map reading and compass handling, expanding your range of activities in the outdoors. Held in an ideal season for outdoor sports, participants visit checkpoints and compete for the points earned. The 6-hour class has Men's Individual, Women's Individual, and Team categories, while the 3-hour class caters to Beginner Teams and Parent-Child Teams. The participation fee includes a participation prize, bath access fee, and accident insurance, allowing everyone to participate with peace of mind. On the day, the rogaining starts after reception and a briefing, and participants aim for high scores by visiting as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit. An awards ceremony will also be held, with supplementary prizes awarded to top finishers. The decision on event cancellation will be made based on the weather forecast on the previous day, and notifications will be sent via website or email in case of cancellation. Participants are requested to observe proper manners, such as taking their trash home, while enjoying the event.
