Held at Shirataki Park in Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture, the "Shirataki Autumn Foliage Festival" is an event where visitors can enjoy fantastical scenery woven by waterfalls and autumn leaves. Running from November 8 to December 6, 2026, visitors can enjoy autumn foliage strolls along the park's walking trails throughout the period. The peak viewing time is particularly from mid-November to early December. At night, the waterfall is illuminated, creating a magical sight. The illumination is held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and nighttime autumn foliage viewing is also recommended. In addition, the "Waterfall Festival" will be held on Sunday, November 15, featuring a children's portable shrine (mikoshi) procession and food stalls. Furthermore, the "Shirataki Rurihime Festival" will take place on Monday (national holiday), November 23, where children participate in traditional ceremonies in colorful costumes. Rice cake making (mochitsuki) and stalls will also create a lively atmosphere. This is an event where you can fully savor the stunning vistas of autumn leaves and waterfalls in Shirataki Park during autumn.
