The "9th Akeha Marche", held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Uwa Cultural Center Front Parking Lot in Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture, is an event where you can enjoy local seasonal flavors, handmade goods, and interaction with local residents. The venue is easily accessible, located a 1-minute walk from Unomachi Station, and is equipped with parking for approximately 300 vehicles. Admission is free with no advance reservation required, and the event runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Diaper changing spaces, nursing spaces, and barrier-free design are provided so that visitors with small children can enjoy it with peace of mind. Ingredients nurtured by the rich nature of Seiyo City and handmade crafts filled with the creators' passion come together, allowing you to choose special items while interacting directly with producers. Many hands-on contents enjoyable across generations are prepared, such as workshops, MC by Ehime's popular entertainer Taiki, a "Kids' Performance Contest" planned and hosted by local high school students, street performances by street performers, and a dance show by local kids dancers. At the newly appearing rescue animal cafe "Inubari" corner, you can also enjoy interacting with cute animals. At the end of the event, a grand raffle where you can win local specialties of Seiyo City and other prizes will also be held. Beyond shopping and gourmet food, it is a place for exchange where you can directly interact with local people and deeply get to know the charm of the local area.
