About this event

An art and calligraphy exhibition will be held to raise motivation for artistic creation, serve as guidelines for penmanship and arts/crafts education in elementary and junior high schools through artworks, and cultivate an eye for art appreciation. In the elementary/junior high division, drawings/paintings, brush calligraphy, and hard-pen calligraphy works will be displayed. Eligibility for the general division has expanded to residents of Kochi Prefecture, with no limit on the number of submissions. Admission is free. The submission fee for the general division is 700 yen for the first piece and 500 yen for each subsequent piece, but it is free for junior high/high school students and unexamined (Mukansa) works. The elementary/junior high division is free of charge. Application guidelines and submission lists must be confirmed separately.
