Hiromichi Tsutsui Painting Exhibition & The Exciting Backyard of the Cultural Archives

Held in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Geisei Village Cultural Archives and Tsutsui Museum of Art, this painting exhibition displays the works of Western-style painter Hiromichi Tsutsui, born in the local region, arranged chronologically by era. On the first floor of the Cultural Archives, folk implements and other items stored in the backyard are exhibited, revealing numerous materials not usually shown to the public. It offers a valuable opportunity to touch upon local history and culture while tracing the evolution of Hiromichi Tsutsui's paintings.
