Fukuchi Town x JAL Tourism and Local Products Fair in Kitakyushu Airport 2026

A tourism and local products fair held as part of a regional revitalization partnership agreement between Fukuchi Town, Tagawa District, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL). It will be held at Kitakyushu Airport on the final weekend of August 2026. The event is packed with fun summer vacation activities, including pottery-making and painting experiences for Fukuchi Town's specialty, the nationally designated traditional craft "Agano Ware" (Agano-yaki), aviation classes conducted by JAL staff, and an airport quiz rally. In addition, players from "Kanoa Laulea's Fukuoka," a women's professional volleyball team based in Fukuchi Town, are scheduled to visit (August 30 only). The Agano ware workshop fee is 1,500 yen per person, and finished pieces can be shipped at a later date via cash-on-delivery shipping. The venue is the 1st floor of the Kitakyushu Airport Terminal Building, and operating hours are from 10:00 to 16:00. Parking fees for standard cars are free for up to 1 hour, 200 yen for up to 2 hours, with an additional 100 yen per hour after 2 hours, up to a maximum fee of 600 yen for 24 hours.
