About this event
This walking event lets you fully enjoy the charms of Miyawaka City while being soothed by rural landscapes and the murmuring of rivers. Along the approximately 9 km course, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Wakita Onsen hot spring resort area and tranquil satoyama mountain village scenery. The surrounding area is dotted with appealing spots to drop by, such as direct sales depots for farm produce, restaurants and cafes using local ingredients, and hot springs. You can take your time enjoying the walk at your own pace, taking photos and visiting shops. Even those not confident in their physical stamina can feel at ease, as a shortcut course is also available. Participants can enter a raffle to win luxurious prizes including freshly harvested rice, hot spring accommodation vouchers, and specialty gift sets. You can also enjoy local hospitality booths and stalls selling products unique to Miyawaka.
