About this event
A trail running race held primarily around the Nijo-machi area of Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The event aims to discover the charms of the former Nijo-machi area, promote Itoshima City as "a town where people want to live and continue living," and promote Itoshima's gourmet food. Starting next to Fukae Beach and featuring a course that includes the summit of Mount Nijodake, runners can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the beautiful sea and Itoshima townscape from the summit. A beach kids' run that parents and children can join is also prepared, and market stalls at the venue can be enjoyed even after the finish. The 18 km course has a cumulative elevation gain of 1,450 m, while the beach kids' run is 1.6 km. Participation prizes include local products and market vouchers, and craft beer tickets are provided to those who arrive by means other than private car.
